The New Wave ~ 2045
The New Wave is Campaign Brief’s Q&A series spotlighting the next generation of independent creative companies and exploring how the indie model is evolving. From structure and speed to culture and capability, we unpack where these businesses are finding their edge and what’s driving client decisions today. Next up is Tim Evans, Founder, 2045 – who fired back these answers from the slopes, during the agency’s inaugural ski trip.
1. Give us the elevator pitch – who are you and what do you do?
We’re 2045 – your favourite agency’s favourite agency.
2. Are indies still challengers, or have they become the norm?
There’s plenty of room for both challengers and normies. And once they’ve both let you down, call me.
3. What’s your unfair advantage over the networks today?
I don’t have to pay 10% of my revenue to a photocopier in Singapore.
4. How are you using AI to compete above your weight?
Weight is a 20th century construct.
5. What kind of clients are choosing indies right now – and why?
What kind of clients aren’t?
6. What’s next – growth, staying lean, or something else?
Just gunna keep getting people on Campaign Brief to crack a smile. Bring back the anon comments!
