Youngbloods VIC to host first WIP Drinks of the Year held 6pm Wednesday, May 1 at Paradise Alley

It’s been a while between drinks, and to celebrate (see: commiserate) winter fast approaching and AWARD School being well underway, on Wednesday May 1, Youngbloods Victoria will be raising a glass to the rise in tech that gave us all jobs: the dot com boom.

Cast your minds back to the late nineties… advertising’s young up-n-comers were likely a lot more carefree than they are today. Could the rising cost of living have something to do with that? Hard to say. What we do know is, everyone’s sick of hearing their managers bang-on about how much better the parties were back then. So Youngbloods is throwing us one!

Here’s what Dhivia Pillai, co-chair of Youngbloods VIC, has to say on the matter: “Tis’ the season to ring in the colder weather with a couple bevs in good company. WIP is where friends are made, sometimes for life – can’t wait to see you there.”
