Youngbloods VIC on the hunt for two new members; applications close Wednesday, Sept 21

Fancy yourself techy on the tools? Or a whiz at online biz? Youngbloods Victoria are looking for a designer and social media manager to join the team.

Youngbloods are a group of young(ish) advertising professionals responsible for events, programs and initiatives across the country that help budding new talent find their feet in this industry. They host the AWARD School grad nights, the nationwide Hard Sell competition, trivia nights, podcasts, panel shows, WIP Drinks, and go head-to-head in the Gruen Pitch. Recently, the VIC group has been running the popular content series AWARD to Awards on Instagram, detailing individual creatives’ journeys from their old student ideas to their new shiny award-winning ones.

Now the VIC team are looking to expand their crew with a designer and social media manager to help create and share some more exciting stuff with the likes of adland.

Says Claudia Sarosiek, VIC co-chair: “Youngbloods are the mates that help you make it, and now we’re looking for some new mates to help us make the committee more impactful than ever before. If you’re passionate about making the industry the best it can be, joining Youngbloods is a truly valuable experience.”

Says Isabel Evans, VIC co-chair: “Don’t get scared off by the video component of the application. I recreated Elle Woods’ Harvard video “essay”. Doesn’t get any scarier than that.”
