Youngbloods VIC appoints CHE Proximity’s Matt Bladin and Clemenger’s Olivia Gatt as co-chairs

CHE Proximity’s Matt Bladin and Clemenger BBDO’s Olivia Gatt have been appointed as co-chairs of Youngbloods VIC. Both Bladin and Gatt joined Youngbloods VIC in 2017 and worked closely with the past chairs to bring several successful events and projects to life.

Says Matt Gardner, past Youngbloods VIC co-chair and now national chairman of Youngbloods Australia: “It’s really exciting to have Olivia and Matt step up as the new chairs for Youngbloods Victoria. They’ve both been on the journey since we restarted Youngbloods Victoria at the end of 2017 and were fundamental to our success. They both live and breathe what Youngbloods stands for, and we’re very much looking forward to the fresh thinking they will bring to the table.”

Bladin and Gatt have curated an incredible team of talent from all over Victoria’s best agencies.

The new Victorian committee members are:
Josh Brown, art director at Noisy Beast
Sarah Lovelock, client executive at Dig&Fish
Shaun McFarlane, copywriter at Noisy Beast
Jessie Roper, account executive at The Monkeys
Elena Szymanski, broadcast and content producer at CHE Proximity
Timmi Tsapaliaris, account manager at Leo Burnett

Bladin said this about the new chapter of Youngbloods VIC: “Youngbloods VIC has always been a resource and network for young people in the industry, and our renewed committee is helping it grow to be better than ever.” Olivia added, “The committee’s talents and experiences have helped make our 2019 events schedule the most exciting in years – we’re looking forward to share what comes next.”

Youngbloods VIC launched their new committee line up with a social event, Youngbloods VIC WIP – which was a major triumph. Next on the cards for Youngbloods VIC will be a panel event with a focus on mental health and a Christmas Party later in the year.

Keep an eye out for Youngbloods VIC’s next endeavours.
