Youngbloods on the hunt for fresh talent across Australia; Applications close Friday, 17 March

For anyone thinking about stretching their skills outside of their 9-5 or looking for a way to make more industry friends, Youngbloods is for them. Multiple roles are up for grabs in the Queensland, Victoria, and New South Wales Youngbloods committees.

Youngbloods is the cool younger sibling of the ACA and is run by young professionals working across the advertising, marketing, and communications fields. From supporting AWARD school initiatives, to hosting skill building workshops and networking events, they exist to empower fellow young talent to reach new heights in their career.

Each state operates unique programs and events developed by their committees including the Lessons in Hindsight podcast in NSW, QLD’s Creative Crash Course workshops and the VIC team’s popular content series AWARD to Awards.

Though the state committees are volunteer-led and a lot of fun, it runs a tight ship and offers its members a chance to actively grow real and relevant skills, and build strong industry connections.

Elle Whittaker, QLD co-chair, expressed her excitement for the prospective new members as Youngbloods continues to flourish in the industry: “There are some amazing initiatives planned this year and I cannot wait to see them come to life. The growth I’ve seen over the last 12 months has been really incredible across all states; there’s never really been a better time to join the team.”
