WorkSafe Victoria launches ‘Daddy’s Home, Daddy’s Here’ spot to mark 7th year of ‘Valuing Safety’ campaign via The Shannon Company

WorkSafe Victoria is celebrating the success of WorkSafe’s ‘Valuing Safety’ campaign over the past seven years with the launch of a new 90sec cinema spot and 60sec TV spot via The Shannon Company, Melbourne.
The team who worked on the original ‘Valuing Safety’ commercial (titled ‘Homecomings’) and all work since consisted of three key people – Bill Shannon (The Shannon Company), James Shannon (Sweet Productions) and Aleksi Vellis (director).

The original Homecomings was a great strategy and a very good ad. There were a couple of other good ones along the way – some real tear jerkers. I’ve seen some of them in other states, which is a big compliment: in my experience, the marketing departments of community service style accounts in different states generally don’t like to use stuff they haven’t personally put their own fingerprints on.
Why isn’t the real production company mentioned here.
