Walk Tall Hero Image.jpgWittner has launched a new brand campaign via Hub Group, featuring Australian actress Emma Booth that aims to change the way women shop for shoes and to help them achieve their personal style.

The ‘Walk Tall’ campaign, which marks the first major brand initiative for the Australian- owned company since its centenary celebrations in 2012, is about women feeling comfortable and confident with every step, every day. The ‘Walk Tall’ message is designed to emotionally engage with Wittner’s style and quality conscious customers, and inspire them to experience shoes as an empowering accessory.

The new campaign will rollout nationally across Wittner’s 76 retail stores from 5 February 2015, and run across print, online, social media, PR and point of sale. A key campaign asset is a brand video featuring, the new face of Wittner, Australian actress, Emma Booth. The video celebrates the empowerment that comes with slipping into your favourite shoes, which enable you to embrace the day with confidence. Product packaging, including bags, shoeboxes and shoecare, will also be updated with new branding and logo.

Wittner’s marketing manager, Maija McCoy, said that the campaign represents a brand evolution for the company, through creating a clear and consistent market presence that is reflective of its vision and values.

Says McCoy: “Wittner is rallying behind a master brand strategy, which positions our entire business and stands out as a powerful stamp that sets us apart from our competitors.

“The campaign is much more than a brand refresh. ‘Walk Tall’ represents what we stand for and connects us with our customers and staff. It builds on our reputation for providing classic takes on the most ‘on-trend’ footwear, designed to inspire women to celebrate their individual style, while maintaining utmost comfort, quality Walk Tall Hero Image 3.jpg nd functionality.

“We are delighted to be working with EmmaBooth, who personifies the confidence, empowerment, beauty and ease women feel when they slip into their favourite pair of shoes. Emma has effortless yet sophisticated style, and we hope her storywill inspire other Australian women to walk tall.”

Further marketing initiatives will be rolled-out throughout the year.
