Virgin Mobile appoints new agencies Whybin\ TBWA, Eleven PR, WiTH Collective, UM + Emotive
Following the news of Virgin Mobile and Optus selecting UM as its new media agency partner, Virgin Mobile has announced further changes to its agency roster, following a competitive pitch process.
Whybin/TBWA has been appointed as lead creative agency, with Eleven PR to handle public relations and social media, and WiTH Collective announced to lead customer marketing activity. UM has been appointed to look after all media activity for the Virgin Mobile account, with Emotive also joining the roster as a content partner for the brand.
Says David Scribner, head of Virgin Mobile: “Whybin\TBWA, Eleven PR, UM, Emotive and WiTH Collective all demonstrated fantastic creativity and disruptive strategic thinking throughout the pitch process. At Virgin Mobile we’re known for our innovative campaigns that generate talkability and shake up the market, and we’re confident that these five agencies are the perfect partners to help us continue to deliver award-winning work.”
Scribner extended his thanks to Virgin Mobile’s incumbent agencies, Havas, One Green Bean and MediaVest, who will continue to work with the business until March 2016.
Says Scribner: “Virgin Mobile have enjoyed a great partnership with Havas, One Green Bean and MediaVest for a number of years, working collaboratively to produce some exceptional award-winning creative campaigns. We’d like to thank the teams for all their hard work in making the Virgin Mobile brand what it is today.”

That DJ’s work and then wins on Presto, Foxtel and now Virgin Mobile….something’s going down over there
Sounds like a f*ckfest. That’s more agencies than Telstra.
@Whybin’s hot!….get back to work Nitsa
Nice work Nitsa
I reckon probably the worst account in Aus. They’re a bunch of old ball bags that are dictated by Optus. Good luck trying to get some decent work out of them fellas.
And Whybin Melbourne just won the most lucrative account, which is Malcolm Turnbull’s innovation campaign out of Canberra. Do the math on Whybin . They do tend to win the big important shit. Just an obversation.
