VANDAL wins most awarded studio in Australia with 1 Gold and 2 Bronze at global AEAF Awards
VANDAL excelled by leading the Australian pack at this year’s global AEAF Awards with an impressive win of 1 Gold, 2 Bronze Awards and 11 finalist nominations.
VANDAL was followed by Alt.vfx with 1 Silver and 2 Special Merit Awards; Fin Design, Flying Bark, Collider, pictureDRIFT, Studio 3AM and Curiious with 1 Gold each; Heckler, Rising Sun Pictures, Cheeky Little Media, Mister, Charles Sturt University, Vanta Collective and Spinifex with 1 Silver each; and Pixel Melbourne, Cadre Pictures with a Bronze each.
The AEAF (Animation and Effects Awards Festival) sees the industry’s best VFX, animation, motion, post and new media studios come together to celebrate international work from across the world.
VANDAL’s motion design and animation work saw them score a Gold for ‘BBC First – Plot Twist’ in the ‘Idents & Stings’ category. The two Bronze Awards were awarded for ‘Google Helpfulness: Google x Baker Boy’ in ‘Education & Infographics’ and ‘AMP Capital/Dexus – Magic Mirror by VANDAL, Macquarie Centre Spring’ in ‘Mixed Reality’.
Complementing the full range of VANDAL’s creative, production, design, VFX, animation, experiential and new media offering, the 3 wins and 11 finalist nominations span across multiple categories, include commercials VFX, animation, live event installations and projections, web viral, augmented reality / VR, education and infographics, idents and stings broadcast.
