VANDAL announces world renowned visual artist Craig Black’s debut launch exhibition next Thursday 15 Feb, 6pm-9pm at VANDAL in Sydney

‘FUSION RULES’ marks the debut launch of internationally acclaimed Craig Black’s first solo exhibition in Australia, exclusive to VANDAL, held next Thursday, February 15 at VANDAL in Redfern, Sydney.

Having won admirers on a global scale for his signature expression called “Acrylic Fusion”, Black has collaborated with a wide range of international brands, sport teams and other partners.

From creating bespoke football artworks for the FIFA at the World Cup, a pop-up store for Porsche Taycan at the Battersea Power Station in London, to producing iconic basketballs with Wilson and the NBA. From the Champions League to creating iconic window displays with Vans, making beautiful packaging with Mucho, transforming a unique speaker system with Gallo Acoustics and creating a one of a kind custom bike frame for Ribble Cycles.

Titled ‘FUSION RULES’, the exhibition is inspired by the fusion of Australian sports, culture and art. Black utilises his signature style in this one-of-a-kind exhibition to create artworks from Aussie rules football, cricket and rugby to basketball, soccer, netball and many more, this exhibition will entice the biggest sports enthusiast to the avid art collector.

Black picks his collaboration partners carefully, as he looks for projects that align with and complement his style and ethos – ensuring that no two partnerships are ever the same.

Black’s work has been celebrated and exhibited across the world: from London and New York to Sydney and Dubai. He is also known across the public speaking circuit for sharing his inspirational creative journey at conferences and creative events around the world.

With a limited number of free tickets available, the exclusive opening exhibition will feature a live performance by Black.
