Unlisted signs Brooklyn-based creative production studio Pomp&Clout

Unlisted has signed Brooklyn-based creative production studio Pomp&Clout to its roster.

The brainchild of filmmaker Ryan Staake, Pomp&Clout champions bold and innovative production methods, delving into fringe technologies, and conceiving new ways to create content that cuts through the noise.

Innate problem solvers, P&C are unafraid to explore uncharted waters; famously transforming a disaster shoot with Young Thug into a viral sensation, and using deepfake technology to give Charli XCX her Spice Girls moment. Though music videos are a heartland for Pomp&Clout, having created films for Diplo, J.Cole, Alt-J and Major Lazer, the team work extensively in the commercials space (working with clients from Adidas, Oculus and Samsung to MTV and Spotify) as well as augmented and virtual reality, creating face filters and lenses for Adult Swim, Duolingo and Facebook.

Says Staake: “Pomp&Clout has always been a bit of a hybrid working across live action, animation and emergent technologies. As such, it’s been challenging to find partners who seem well suited to our unique profile. We’re incredibly happy to have found this perfect match with Unlisted, and look forward to bringing our eclectic talents to a new market with their help.”

Says Katie Mackin, managing director, Unlisted: “Pomp&Clout’s work pushes boundaries, spans mediums and straddles real and virtual worlds. We’re rapt to team up with them and offer access to such a genuinely innovative studio to the APAC region.”
