Uncanny Valley and Melodie launch the festive season with augmented Christmas party

Uncanny Valley has celebrated its 10th year of operation, partnering with its ever-growing production music company Melodie to party in ‘augmented’ fashion at the newly renovated and rebranded, The Glebe Hotel.

The extended Uncanny Valley family included founders Justin Shave and Charlton Hill, UV Sound’s Andy Wilson and Matt Perrott, UV tech strategic partnerships director Caroline Pegram, Melodie MD Evan Buist, composers, sound designers, content creators and UV’s academic and tech partners. Drinks, canapés and stories were shared over an eclectic mix of QCE performers and beats from UV Xmas party alumni, DJs Levi 5 star and Brenny B-side.

2019 marks the end of a prolific decade of music and sound collaboration with many facets of the entertainment industry and the celebration of Uncanny Valley’s pursuits in music technology and the use of AI generative systems in music.

Uncanny Valley would like to thank all of its partners and the Australian industry at large for its ongoing support and we look forward to what the next decade will hold!
