Independent agency Rumble has been appointed by Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) to help deliver the next evolution of Queensland’s global brand strategy.
TEQ’s chief executive officer Leanne Coddington said the appointment was the result of an open tender process for its content and creative panel: “Rumble has built its reputation as a global leader in creative development and will partner with TEQ to ensure our marketing achieves cut-through for domestic and international travellers in a highly competitive tourism environment.”
The Brisbane-based agency has strong ties into Asia and is part of The Network One – a network of 1,200 independent agencies in 109 countries.
Rumble co-founder and creative partner James Burchill said the appointment was a proud achievement for the Rumble team: “It truly is an honour to be entrusted with bringing to life an exciting, long-term brand vision for the place we live and love.”
In 2018, Rumble created the “Find your perfect next” campaign which relaunched Queensland’s famous tagline “Beautiful One Day Perfect the Next”.
The agency has recently completed Queensland’s intrastate tourism campaign, now being adapted to promote Queensland holidays to Australian travellers as interstate travel returns.
