Top agency CEOs headline ACA Business & Agency Leadership, October 18-20 in Sydney

Leading agency CEOs and founders from WPP, Omnicom, Special, Howatson+Company and more will come together in October to share the lessons they’ve learned building successful businesses, as part of Advertising Council Australia’s Business & Agency Leadership course.

Designed for Group Account Directors, Client Partners and senior agency professionals preparing for broader commercial responsibilities, the three-day residential will run at QT Sydney from 18–20 October.

Says Kirsty Muddle, Chief Executive Officer, Ogilvy ANZ, and course Co-Chair: “The rules of agency growth are being rewritten. Success today requires more than great creative work. It demands commercial judgement, strategic thinking and the confidence to navigate constant change. That’s what this course is designed to help delegates build.”

Co-chaired by Laura Aldington, Founder and CEO of Supermassive, the program combines practical workshops, real-world business challenges and candid conversations with some of Australia’s most experienced agency leaders, including: Rose Herceg, CEO, WPP ANZ; Nick Garrett, CEO, Omnicom Oceania; Lindsey Evans, Global Partner & CEO, Special Australia; Chris Howatson, Founder & CEO, Howatson+Company; Sheryl Marjoram, Co-CEO, Clemenger BBDO; and Matthew Michael, CEO, Droga5 Australia & New Zealand.

Says Aldington: “The move from managing clients to helping lead a business is one of the biggest transitions in an agency career. The best leaders never assume their greatest work is behind them. This course gives delegates the practical tools, fresh perspectives and confidence to ensure their greatest work is still ahead.”
