Today the Brave bolsters account team with five new hires

Today the Brave is accelerating its next phase of growth, promoting and appointing senior account talent across the group, social and shopper as it continues a run of major new business wins.

The agency has appointed Gina O’Donnell as Group Account Director, Liam O’Brien as Senior Account Manager, Rubee Stephenson as Content Creator, Tiana Iacono as Senior Account Manager and Eliza Laurence-Chenu as Account Director, further deepening its senior client leadership bench at a time of sustained momentum.

O’Donnell joins as Group Account Director from McCann London, bringing a decade of global brand and integrated marketing experience across APAC and EMEA for clients including Qatar Airways and Mastercard.

Says O’Donnell: “As businesses rediscover the value of long-term brand building, independent agencies are uniquely positioned to lead the way – agile, deeply invested, and genuinely in the business. I’m excited to join the team at Today The Brave, partnering with clients to turn brand ambition into lasting business results.”

O’Brien joins as Senior Account Manager from Clemenger BBDO, bringing a background in long-term client partnerships and content production for the likes of IAG and Samsung. He’s joined by Stephenson, a Content Creator from Ogilvy adding social-first craft across ideation, copywriting, filming and editing for KFC, Coca-Cola and Cadbury; Iacono, a Senior Shopper Account Manager from VML with experience across brand, social and shopper marketing for Coca-Cola, Haleon and Takis; and Laurence-Chenu, joining as Account Director on the Shopper team. Bringing experience across categories, channels and markets, Eliza returns to Australia after three years in the UK, where she has continued to build her expertise in delivering integrated solutions and strategic brand growth..

Says Jaimes Leggett, Managing Partner at Today the Brave: “We’ve built this business by being brave; in the work, in the way we partner with clients and in the people we back.

“Growth for us is a by-product of building a creatively ambitious business rather than simply a bigger one. When the work works, everything moves forward. So the focus is simple: keep raising the bar, keep bringing in people who make the product better, and don’t slow down. Hiring this level of senior talent means we can keep pushing harder and faster without losing what makes us us.”

The expanded team comes off the back of a string of new client wins including Law Partners, Elanco Pharmaceuticals, LGT Crestone and HVLH.

The appointments mark another milestone in Today the Brave’s ongoing growth, as the agency continues to scale.
