Campaign Brief recognises and showcases the great work that is being produced in the region with The Work 2024 Contenders. Here is BMF’s Top 3…

Tourism Tasmania: Off Cuts
BMF
Inspired by Tasmania’s ‘Off Season’, Tourism Tasmania launched an eco-friendly winter clothing collection made solely from discarded tacky summer souvenirs.

The bespoke winter range was co-created with Tasmanian designer Noah Johnson to turn discarded bikinis into beanies, tea-towels into trousers, Hawaiian shirts into puffer jackets, and beach towels into cosy scarfs.

Embodying the Off Season’s offbeat spirit for culturally adventurous travellers, the collection was covered in Vogue, Russh, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle and Peppermint – championing Tasmania’s cheeky irreverence, creative craft and cutting edge sustainability credentials.

Murdoch Children’s Research Institute: KIP Merchandise
BMF
Following on from the fast-selling KIP book series – a children’s book centred around a mischievous pillow character who disguises sleep science as bedtime stories – we launched KIP merchandise. After selling out our bedtime stories, we inked a deal with one of the world’s largest sleepwear retailers, Cotton On, to sell KIP Merch. In partnership with MCRI, KIP became part of every touchpoint of kids’ bedtime routine – from soft tactile pyjamas, to weighted blankets to aid sleep and small water bottles to reduce the need to go to the toilet in the night. All sales of KIP merchandise continue to fund further research for MCRI.

Tennis Australia: Hits Different
BMF
To celebrate the unique way Aussies play and watch tennis, Tennis Australia launched its new brand platform ‘Hits Different’. With bold animation, illustration, and a suite of colourful characters, the campaign aired across TV, BVOD, OOH, social, digital, and owned channels, highlighting how tennis in Australia just ‘Hits Different’.
