Campaign Brief recognises and showcases the great work that is being produced in the region with The Work 2024 Contenders. Here is Airbag’s Top 3…

Department of Justice and Community Safety: Victorian Fires Campaign
Production Company: Airbag
Director: Rune Milton
Agency: VML
With longer fire seasons and more extreme weather across Australia, Victorians need to be prepared for the risks of grassfires and bushfires. This fire safety campaign shows the unpredictability and dangers of fire, including smoke disorientation, sudden wind change affecting fire direction, and being overrun by flames when staying to defend property. The film highlights the risks that can be avoided if Victorians have a fire plan ready, and leave early on Extreme or Catastrophic Fire Danger Rating days.

Toyota: Find Your Drive
Production Company: Airbag
Director: Bec Peniston-Bird
Agency: HERO
As a brand that believes in delivering mobility for all, Toyota introduces Find Your Drive, an initiative that is helping adult Australians overcome their barriers to getting licenced. Over three episodes spanning three months, our hopeful drivers experience the Find Your Drive program with expert driving instructors, counsellors and a VR driving school, as they navigate their own personal challenges and the roads ahead, right up until the moment of their final driving exam.

Bangalow Koalas: Extinction
Production Company: Airbag
Director: Rob Ride
Agency: Momentum Worldwide
This campaign shows the gravitas of an extinction event for the koalas of Bangalow, with award winning Indigenous actor Mark Coles Smith as narrator.
