Campaign Brief recognises and showcases the great work that is being produced in the region with The Work 2022 Contenders…

Red Balloon: A Tale of Two Christmases
Eric Tom and Bruce
Dolphins, wineries and hot air ballooning. Welcome to Red Balloon’s 2021 Christmas campaign. Shot over three days in the beautiful Hunter Valley, we produced a 30” TVC alongside a suite of 15s and 6 second online ads. The icing on the top capturing a range of stills for the OOH and digital placements.

Victoria Police: PSO Recruitment
Eric Tom and Bruce
Off the back of our work on their Be A Force for Good campaign, Victoria Police approached Eric Tom & Bruce to create a fresh suite of videos for their 2020 PSO recruitment campaign. The brief was to produce a series of case study videos featuring current PSOs that would specifically increase the number of female applicants during the 2020/2021 intake. Our solution was to tell the stories of four different female PSOs and focus on the specific challenges, concerns and barriers they had before applying. This would ensure these stories are particularly relevant and interesting to female viewers, while maintaining a more general CTA. This project was completed during Victoria’s lockdown and used a combination of animation and minimal live action footage. Once completed we delivered 12 unique and engaging films to be used across social and digital media.

MND Victoria: Shut Up for MND
Eric Tom and Bruce
With restrictions forcing the cancellation of MND Victoria’s traditional fundraising walking event for the second year, fresh thinking was required and delivered by the ETB team. A new concept “Shut Up! For MND” was conceived, involving asking people to remain totally silent for 12 hours in a day in October. The idea was inspired by the fact that many MND patients suffer a loss of their ability to speak. By challenging people to find other ways to communicate for 12 hours other than talking, ETB are raising awareness of Motor Neurone Disease and its devastating impacts. In a twist on the traditional testimonial film MND sufferer Carolyn Hutchinson explains why support for MND Victoria is so important.

Ovarian Cancer Victoria: Teal Ribbon Giving Day
Eric Tom and Bruce
Working closely with ovarian cancer patient Chloe, we shot this over half a day to show the support that Ovarian Cancer Australia provides to women like her. Shockingly, four women are diagnosed every day with ovarian cancer in Australia – three of those four will die. The video contributed to helping raise a record breading 1 million dollars, well exceeding their initial target of $500k.
