With Cannes Lions and LIA postponed until 2021, Campaign Brief is still out to recognise and showcase the great work that is being produced in the region. So we are introducing The Work 2020 Contenders.

Powershop: The story of your power
whiteGREY
A kids book with a difference for Powershop, Australia’s greenest power company. Developed to help families be more sustainable with energy, ‘Pond Party’ uses smart meter data to change the story based on household energy use. The more sustainable your energy use is, the better the story gets. Featuring climate vulnerable native animals, it’s a great way for households to learn about ways to reduce their impact on the environment when we’re all spending more time at home using energy.

MPAN: Missed Birthdays
whiteGREY
Missed Birthdays shines a light on the partners, families and friends of missing people on the most important day of their calendar. The creative features heartfelt birthday messages from loved ones to missing persons that were run on the missing persons’ actual birthdays.

Through the Missed Birthdays initiative, more awareness and funds will be raised over time to support those living with the unique form of grief known as ambiguous loss.

Volvo: Recovery Roadtrip
whiteGREY
Roadtrips are integral to the Australian way of life. We’re people who love exploring new places and trying new things. So, it goes without saying we’ve missed the open road these past few months.

Now we have the freedom to move again, our towns desperately need us to visit.

Recovery Roadtrips are a series of curated day, overnight and weekend trips that specifically journey through bushfire affected towns that are still in recovery mode after the devastating impact bushfires and coronavirus have had on local economies.

Volvo Recovery Roadtrip is a campaign that encourages you to drive, eat, stay and explore. By doing so you will be helping yourself, the community and Australia get back on track.

Powershop: Free Power Mode
whiteGREY
A campaign that responded to the weather, FREE POWER MODE was activated when the wind determined, highlighting the abundance and cost effectiveness of renewable energy.

Like a switch had been automatically flicked, Powershop’s assets went into FREE POWER MODE to let the nation know that Powershop was making so much renewable energy that it was being given away for free. FREE POWER MODE was in place for 24 hours catching the attention of Aussies and the news media.

The entry deadline for Campaign Brief’s The Work 2020 has now closed. Entries are FREE with only an acceptance fee charged for those that make the cut.
