The Mint Partners marks its next chapter of growth with Brisbane expansion
The Mint Partners will open a dedicated Brisbane office, marking the next stage of the independent agency’s national growth and strengthening its presence in one of Australia’s fastest-growing markets.
The expansion positions MINT to support local, national and international brands seeking to build relevance, reputation and market share across Queensland, as the state enters a significant period of economic, cultural and global attention in the lead-up to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The Brisbane office will be led by MINT’s Brisbane-based Group Account Director, Ambre Harford, a longstanding senior member of the agency with a 10-year tenure. MINT is currently building its local team and establishing a permanent base in the city. The team will provide clients with access to MINT’s full national capabilities and resources, paired with on-the-ground market insight, media relationships and cultural understanding.
The Brisbane expansion follows MINT’s successful expansion into Melbourne four years ago and builds on the agency’s considered, culture-led approach to growing the business.
MINT Founder and Chief Executive Officer Genevieve Taubman Campbell (above left) said Brisbane represented a natural next chapter for the agency: “Brisbane is entering an extraordinary period of growth, creativity and global visibility. Opening a dedicated office allows us to be closer to our Queensland clients and partners, while helping brands identify and act on the opportunities emerging across the state in the lead-up to 2032 and beyond.
“Our approach has always been grounded in insight, imagination and measurable impact. The evolution of our Sydney and Melbourne offices has reinforced how important it is to have a team genuinely embedded in the city in which they work. It is not about flying in, it is about living the culture, relationships and rhythm of the local market.
“We are excited to contribute to the city’s evolving business and cultural landscape.”
MINT has a strong track record working with clients across Queensland, including an eight-year partnership with W Brisbane, as well as continued work with JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa, Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Port Douglas and Makris Group’s Marina Mirage redevelopment.
Growing client demand for MINT’s insight-led approach to creative communications across Queensland has made Brisbane a logical next step for the agency.
MINT Managing Director Miranda Bryce (above right) said establishing a permanent presence would enable the agency to deliver more responsive and locally relevant communications solutions: “Queensland is experiencing strong momentum across tourism, property, hospitality, retail, lifestyle and major events, which closely aligns with MINT’s category expertise. Having a permanent team on the ground will allow us to provide stronger market intelligence, strategic counsel and culturally relevant creative communications solutions for both existing and new clients.
“We see Brisbane 2032 as a catalyst for long-term economic, cultural and brand opportunity. The strongest brands will be those that begin building meaningful connections with audiences well before the Games begin, and sustain that presence well into the future.”
The Brisbane office joins MINT’s Sydney headquarters and Melbourne office, as well as the agency’s broader on-the-ground presence in Auckland and Tokyo.
MINT is recruiting for its growing Brisbane team, with opportunities currently available for a Senior Account Manager and Account Coordinator.
