The Menulog Low Rider takes Macca’s to the streets in new campaign via McCann Sydney
Menulog has officially announced the 2021 continuation of its delivery partnership with Macca’s in a new campaign by McCann Sydney, giving a nostalgic nod to the iconic 2001 Still D.R.E music clip featuring brand ambassador Snoop Dogg.
The 30 second TVC, which launched yesterday, shows Menulog delivery driver Rudy, played by Rudy El Kholti (Mister Italia 2019, Bachelorette 2020) and McDonald’s employee, Karl, hittin’ switches as they drive through Sydney, delivering Macca’s in an iconic orange Menulog Low Rider.
McCann chief creative officer Ben Coulson says the campaign was a fun take on an old vibe, perfect for celebrating the delivery partnership.
Menulog chief marketing officer Simon Cheng says the partnership is an exciting move for the brand and is thrilled to be able to showcase the collaboration with Macca’s to Australians: “Macca’s and Menulog have a similar ethos – it’s genuine, fun and playful – and as such, it was important to communicate our partnership in an authentic and light-hearted way. There’s something special that happens when the magic of the iconic golden arches meets the swagger of our bright orange Menulog Low Rider.”
The campaign went live with a 15-second and 30-second TVC on the 16t h of February, followed by out of home spots and social media integration.
Australians are now able to order Macca’s on Menulog from over 900 McDonald’s restaurant partners, with free delivery on Macca’s orders for the month of February.

Sweet ride
What’s the idea? We hired a car?
Maybe the idea is the colour orange. In this case 19 feet of 64 Coupe de Ville. But isn’t orange the branding idea for ING? Or is that BankWest???
Pretty sure the idea is that MenuLog now delivers Mcdonalds. But it didn’t take a guy in my profession to figure that one out.
stick icky
Fly Buys?
What is the make of the orange car used in the ad?
Cadillac
I would like to know where you got the 1964 Cadillac from as my mother had one in the 1960s you can ring me on +61425271343 any time .I was wondering if it may be the one my family had as ours was white with red leather interior Right hand drive I am just curious as I noticed it has a red dash board
thank you
Simon
I don’t know what or who snoop dog might be, but what on Earth does ‘ lo lo’ mean? None of these ads make any sense to me. There’s another ad saying ‘ on the Lo Lo ‘ .
