The Media Precinct builds agency team with key new hire Maddi Ventura

Independent media agency The Media Precinct has continued its positive repositioning in the COVID-19 environment with another key hire Maddi Ventura.

Ventura joins The Media Precinct to take up the role of integrated media trader and brings experience gained across Government clients including Taronga Zoo, TAFE and Transport and Customer Service Departments.

Ventura will work across both planning and media buying and her appointment follows the appointment of paid social media manager Kate Farquharson and integrated media manager Mitchell Jansons in recent weeks.

Managing director Glenda Wynyard said the business is taking a proactive stance to the COVID-19 period and seizing the chance to build its team for the future: “We recognise the seismic challenges faced by our industry and by clients. Our approach is to take decisive steps to build our business and strengthen our delivery for clients and our capacity to do more for them in the future.

“I welcome Maddi to the team and know her insights and skills, drawn from working in a large agency environment, will really add to our team dynamic and output.”

Ventura joins The Media Precinct from Universal McCann.

Says Ventura: “I’m excited to join The Media Precinct and work across a diverse range of clients. Having worked in a big media agency recently, I’ve been able to get my hands dirty across the wide breadth of media, working with very small to very big budgets.

“COVID has inarguably had an impact on the way we consume media. I love working with clients using the latest data and research to ensure we show empathy and responsiveness for clients in the face of this extremely volatile climate.

“Now more now than ever, clients want media counsel that’s reactive and agile.”
