The Kitchen signs photographers Lula Cucchiara and Bonnie Coumbe

The Kitchen has expanded its creative roster with the signing of two new photographers: portraiture and advertising photographer Lula Cucchiara and food photographer Bonnie Coumbe.

Cucchiara recently relocated to Sydney from New Zealand. Having built a career that spans more than 15 years as a multi-disciplinary image maker, her bold, colourful imagery brings to focus the vibrant spirit of youth and diversity. Cucchiara’s work is characterised by a fresh aesthetic and a playful sense of spontaneity. She excels at capturing genuine and unexpected moments, brought to life through the lens of a gifted storyteller.

Coumbe is a Sydney based food photographer known for her clean and elegant approach to food photography. She enjoys working with natural ingredients in their raw form, always focused on capturing food to reveal its optimum appetite appeal.

Coumbe’s photographic style is characterised by simplicity and the use of natural light to create depth and dimension. She is often exploring colour, texture and shape, combined with carefully crafted compositions that allow the food to take centre stage.
