The Glue Society selected to talk at SXSW 2024

In recognition of its 25 years of groundbreaking communication art, film direction and experiential work, The Glue Society has been picked to lead a session at this year’s South by South West Festival in Austin, Texas in March 2024.

The SXSW Conference provides an opportunity for the global community of creatives to encounter cutting-edge ideas, discover new interests and network with other professionals who share a similar appetite for forward-focused experiences.

And it is on this theme of experiential advertising and communication that The Glue Society will be leading a panel alongside Joe Staples, partner and CCO, Mother USA and Shawn Lacy, partner and managing director, Biscuit Filmworks.

Its session, ‘Experiential Pioneers: Lessons in Creating the Impossible’ was chosen as part of the SXSW Panel Pickers program, where the attendees were able to choose the talks they were interested in seeing.

And the panel will explore the creative inspiration for bold thinking, how to get brand clients on board with doing something undefinable, and how to actually execute on a grand scale.

The March 11 sessions forms part of the Advertising & Brand Experience track – geared towards agencies and organizations that want to better understand new ways of connecting with their communities – while the full Festival runs from March 8 – 16, 2024.

The Glue Society team recently spoke at Ciclope Festival in Berlin and are similarly engaged in this year’s D&AD Festival in London – in recognition of their 25 year anniversary.

The group have produced a limited edition magazine featuring highlights from their 25 years. If you are yet to receive a copy, a few remain available, so please contact the team via hello@gluesociety.com
