The General Store launches first work for Freedom with Summer Collection campaign
Australian furniture and homewares brand, Freedom, has appointed The General Store, Sydney as its creative agency of record. The General Store will be responsible for the brand’s strategic and creative direction.
The agency’s first work for Freedom launches this week with a campaign promoting the arrival of Freedom’s Summer Collection.
Says Jason Piggott, GM Customer and Marketing: “The General Store offers a unique blend of retail expertise and creative firepower. They were quick to understand our business and have already offered some powerful insights into the category.”
Says Matt Newell (left), Co-Founder and CEO at The General Store: “Freedom is a brand with a strong legacy and a very strong product offer. We’re looking forward to helping the business strengthen its proposition in the market.
“We were keen to bring a fashion edge to the category, so we teamed up with Lance Kelleher and the team at Photoplay who were brilliant to work with.”
The General Store is an independent retail specialist agency that offers strategy, advertising, design, technology and store design services. Clients include THE ICONIC, Supercheap Auto, Marley Spoon, FoodWorks, Hamilton Island and Coates Hire.
