The Creative Relay Podcast returns with a double-episode on innovation featuring Grey London’s Laura Jordan Bambach + Google’s Tara McKenty
The creative industry’s favourite podcast has returned with a double episode featuring two trailblazing creatives from the cutting edge of advertising. The latest episodes of The Creative Relay brought to you by Smith & Western start with Laura Jordan Bambach, President and CCO of Grey London in an illuminating discussion with Google’s APA Creative Head Tara Mckenty.
In the podcast, the two discuss the changing face of advertising, and its role in the lives of consumers in an increasingly cluttered and chaotic world.
Following on from this episode, Mckenty invites the creatively prolific New Zealander Beth O’Brien on to talk about her latest role as Head of Innovation at The Monkeys. The conversation offers a unique insight into how technology is enabling creatives to connect brands with their audience in ever-imaginative ways.
Paul Dunne, host of the podcast, which is now in its 5th year, says these latest episodes highlight the exciting direction the advertising industry is taking: “Looking back over the years we’ve been recording, it’s incredible to see how much has changed and how creative minds are now leading the way” he says.
“At the same time, ideas are still the currency, and they are as invaluable as ever”.
For Smith and Western Sound show-runner Dan Higson, the episodes epitomise what he was always hoping to achieve with the podcast: “We started The Creative Relay to help inspire creative minds – Laura, Tara and Beth all deliver in spades. I challenge anyone to not be energised by what they have to say about where the future is heading,” he says.
These and all the other episodes are now available on all popular podcast platforms such as Apple Podcasts and for the first time on Spotify as well as at thecreativerelay.com
