The Civic Partnership bolsters property and development communications team

Leading public affairs consultancy, The Civic Partnership, has bolstered its property and development communications capabilities with two new hires.

Property media specialist, Laura Phillips (above), joins as senior account director following more than 10 years with property services and investment management company, Colliers. A trusted advisor, Phillips is a market-leading public relations expert with a wealth of media relations, corporate communications, thought leadership and research experience.

Also new to The Civic Partnership is Natarcha Jones, who brings agency experience across the property, health, and pharmaceutical sectors to the role of account coordinator.

The Civic Partnership provides property and development clients with end-to-end services from pre-lodgement stakeholder engagement, communications to support a planning application through to corporate media and public relations as part of a new development marketing sales campaign.

Says Chris Newman, managing partner at The Civic Partnership: “The growth of our property and development team enables us to continue to expand our services and expertise making us bigger, better and bolder than ever.”

“Thanks to more than 17 years in the Australian media – as a journalist and communications specialist – Laura has a strong track record working across all aspects of the property sector from capital markets to commercial, agricultural, industrial and retail property and on to healthcare and retirement living and residential project marketing.

“We are attracting some of the best brains in the business as well as emerging industry stars and are thrilled to welcome Laura and Natarcha to our team of experts.”

Phillips said she was looking forward to playing a role in further expanding The Civic Partnership’s property and development communications team and client base as the sector continues to evolve: “My goals are to always elevate clients’ profiles, create new business opportunities and boost revenue – and I look forward to bringing my experience and ideas to The Civic Partnership at such an exciting point in its evolution.”

The expansion of The Civic Partnership’s property and development team follows its recent adoption of a partnership model – an Australian-first for communications consultancies.
