Sweetshop signs Jared Daperis for representation in Australia

Global Production company Sweetshop has signed director Jared Daperis for representation in Australia.

An abundantly talented Australian filmmaker, Daperis is a visual storyteller with a poetic style that sets a deeply evocative tone, combining emotion and authenticity. Daperis’ work is defined by boldly cinematic imagery and powerfully restrained performances. It is these genuine and honest character portraits and painterly frames that make his films so inspiring and incredibly affecting.

Daperis studied at New York University. He was nominated for Best Direction at the 2021 Berlin Commercial Awards for his ‘Impossible Is Nothing’ film for Adidas. He has worked with brands including AIA, RACV, Lifeline and Babylove and music artists such as Gang Of Youths and RÜFÜS DU SOL.
