SWEAT appoints Leo Burnett as global creative agency following a competitive pitch process

Leo Burnett Australia has been awarded the creative account for SWEAT, one of the world’s largest online platforms for women’s health and fitness, offering the best advice, education and workouts to support women to achieve their goals.

Following a competitive pitch, the agency will partner with the business to continue the rapid global growth that began four years ago when Kayla Itsines and Tobi Pearce launched the ‘Sweat with Kayla’ app.

Says Mike Scott, chief brand and marketing officer, SWEAT: “We’re delighted to appoint Leo Burnett to be our marketing and creative partner. SWEAT has bold ambitions to be the home of the largest, most confident and engaged female fitness community on the planet. We do this by providing our community with meaningful, results driven tools to help promote self confidence and a holistic approach to health for women of all walks of life.

“Currently much of our business is based in the Northern Hemisphere, which gives us a huge opportunity to further expand our reach into the Southern Hemisphere. We believe Leo Burnett has the depth and firepower — strategically and creatively — to support us as we continue to build the brand and grow our engagement globally.”

Says Melinda Geertz, CEO, Leo Burnett Australia: “SWEAT is a brand that we admire so much for its passion and purpose. It’s more than an amazing fitness program; it’s a space where women can encourage and motivate each other. We’re absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Mike and his team to help inspire more women around the world to join the SWEAT community and feel empowered with fitness.”
