Smith and Western was commissioned to create the sonic logo for world first news streaming platform Flash, released this week.

Says Nick West: “It was important to create a fresh modern perspective on the news theme that represents the exciting and dynamic product that is Flash.”

Adds Dan Higson: “We wanted to create a sonic logo that was instantly recognisable as Flash. It needed represent the gateway into a world where news is at your fingertips wherever and whenever you want it. It needed to be bold, attention grabbing and unique.”

Flash is Australia’s biggest news streaming service and the most convenient way to stay informed and connected across a range of opinions, perspectives and views that matter to you.

News-lovers everywhere can stream more than 20 global and local news sources, with Flash. Whether it’s CNN International, Al Jazeera, Sky News, BBC World News, FOX News Channel or CNBC, you control your newsfeed and watch the news you want, when you want it. Stream live and on demand.

Says West: “We love working with the team over at Streamotion on their innovative and cutting edge platforms. Having the opportunity to give the brand a voice is something we feel very proud of” says Dan. “When we launched S&W Sonic Branding this was exactly the kind of project we aspired to team up on and further reinforce our strategy to be the leading Sonic Branding agency in the country.”

This is the third sonic identity S&W have created for the team at Streamotion, following on from the Kayo and Binge sonic logos which were launched over the past three years.
