Super Studio joins forces with sector7g

Adelaide’s Super Studio will expand its scope and reach with the acquisition of boutique brand and design agency sector7g.

The acquisition sees sector7g’s internationally awarded design duo, Nic Eldridge (above left) and Nathan Adams, move to the marketing and communications agency as design director and senior graphic designer, respectively.

Eldridge, who founded sector7g in 1999, celebrates 25 years of the design agency by starting an exciting new chapter as one of three directors of Super Studio.

He joins Tamrah Petruzzelli (far right) and Selena Battersby (centre) in a director role. Petruzzelli and Battersby have two decades of experience in media, marketing, and events with agencies, brands, and titles such as The Adelaide Review, Hot 100 Wines, Mash, Clique Mag, and Rip It Up.

The studio is guided by a strategic investment advisory board made up of some of Adelaide’s most respected names in business and finance: Paul Rigmany (Enduring Group), Leah Ivanovic (Humanee), Andres Donoso (Donoso), and Eduardo Donoso (Donoso).

Says Donoso: “It’s not every day you get to welcome designers of the pedigree of Nic and Nathan to your agency. They are two of Australia’s most talented graphic designers, who, for more than two decades, have been recognised nationally and internationally for work that is impactive as it is distinctive.”

Says Petruzzelli: “We’re thrilled to welcome Nic and Nathan to the Super team, they’ve fitted in perfectly already, and their wealth of talent and experience will help drive Super Studio to the next level.”

Away from sector7g, Eldridge is current co-president of the Adelaide Advertising Design Club and was CEO of AGDA from 2013 to 2020.

Says Edlridge: “It’s been fantastic to join forces with Selena, Tamrah, and the Super Studio team. We have hit the ground running, with new work and new relationships already flourishing.

“Nathan and I are excited about the opportunities that this merger creates for our clients, and for the both of us. We’re greatly confident about our ongoing role in Super Studio’s future success.”

Some of sector7g’s award winning projects include: Unsettling Queenstown at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2023, Australia Pavillion; Refuel Marketing identity; Swanbury Penglase, Everyday Architecture publication; brand design and signage for Holman Hodge and their curated workspace, Next; Nihon Harmony resorts brand architecture and ski village signage; as well as a website for the UK band Ride to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of their album Going Blank Again.

Nathan Adams joined Eldridge at sector7g in 2008 and has been with him ever since. He developed a custom digital brand guidelines system called Document.

Adams’ work has been recognised by AADC, DIA, and AGDA, where he was a juror for their annual awards. He joins Super Studio as senior graphic designer.

Super Studio’s current clients include South Australia’s History Festival, Barossa Australia, La Popular Taqueria, Bay to Birdwood, Enerven, TCL, Go Sunny Solar, Restaurant Botanic, Holman Hodge, Healthy Collective, Key Invest, Rawson Verco Need, Australian Dental Foundation, Pundi Bitters, Music EDNet, Amplified House, and Mylor Farm.
