Squarespace launches new Australian brand campaign ‘Missing Legends’
Squarespace, the website building and ecommerce platform, has launched its new Australian brand campaign.
The creative and direction for the spot came from Squarespace’s award-winning in-house creative team. Squarespace’s in-house team is responsible for bringing to life world-class advertising campaigns, including an Emmy Award-Winning Super Bowl ad and its most recent Super Bowl ad starring Adam Driver.
The spot tells the tale of local legend Harry, who swapped his stool at the local pub for a thriving business on Squarespace. Building on previous “Everything to Sell Anything” campaigns, the spot aims to inspire all the local legends to bring their ideas to life using Squarespace’s suite of products.

Looks like an over stylised American bar to be harsh though.
That looks so Aussie.
but…. was that made overseas?
Whole thing has an uncanny valley feel. Looks American, feels like voices might be dubbed. Bit weird.
American production, Directed by the american client, no doubt shot in america
Nice idea. The execution somehow misses the mark.
Well…yes, American bar. Voices not dubbed. And done with an Aussie consultant, and all Aussie actors throwing in their opinions to get it as realistic as possible. down to ‘is that a stool? or a chair?’ And if anyone’s interested – the whole thing had to be shot in one take – no cuts. The camera person is the real star
