Spruik Group continues growth with the acquisition of video production agency Ophset

Adelaide-based digital collective, Spruik Group has completed the successful acquisition of video production company, Ophset as well as young and energetic social media agency, Stride Social.

The acquisition of the two digital agencies also sees owner, Austin Lovell and his team join the Spruik Group. Ophset’s impressive client list boasts brands such as Spotless, Zagame Automotive, Ray White, pwc, local sporting outfit Adelaide Strikers and charity organisation, Canteen.

“I’m really excited to take our brands to the next level and with the extra resources we have available we want to continue to help grow our client’s businesses through captivating video”.

Ophset and Stride Social join Spruik Digital under the Group’s umbrella with Lovell also taking up a directorship within the business.

Says Rye Smith, managing director, Spruik Group: “I’m delighted to be able to announce this deal and what this means for our clients moving forward. To be able to expand our service offering across video content production means we can offer the full digital solution across web, social media and even for internal digital communications in a continually evolving landscape.”

The Spruik Group also encompasses Spruik Digital, offering SEO/SEM and digital marketing solutions for a wide range of clients across Australia and New Zealand.

Says Smith: “Our aim is to demystify what digital marketing and being online in 2019 is all about. There’s so much wasted advertising spend out there and it’s quite frustrating to see businesses wasting money. We really want to do digital the right way.”
