SMART Partners hires McCann’s Brendan Keevers as new general manager of digital performance

HERO’s integrated innovations agency, SMART Partners, has today announced the appointment of Brendan Keevers as its new general manager of digital performance.


After leading digital performance in McCann for over two years and working alongside clients such as University of Melbourne and NSW Government, Keevers has moved within the HERO group to expand and lead SMART Partners’ specialist digital innovation consultancy arm.

HERO is an award-winning integrated agency network across Australia and New Zealand, offering all the complementary offerings of McCANN, SMART, BBE, JSA Digital, The Red Republic, and Engine Room Productions within one consolidated group.

Keevers will lead a team dedicated to identifying efficiencies in digital interactions and communications, with a strong emphasis on digital performance management (including SEO and SEM), digital asset optimisation, e-commerce platforms and digital innovation.

SMART managing partner Dominic Walsh says the revitalised agency will further build its high-end, integrated innovation and consultancy capabilities with the appointment of Keevers at the helm.

Keevers has 15 years’ experience working from the ground up across Digital, Strategy and IT, focusing on eCommerce, information-value exchange and AI Machine learning integration. His expertise and purpose are underpinned by conversion optimisations and using digital mediums within marketing to achieve organisational goals.

Keevers has worked on brands such as University of Melbourne, NSW Government, Melbourne Airport, Gold Coast City Council, Tradelink, Wallace Bishop, HiSmile Teeth and Navitas.
