Rebecca Robertson joins Saatchi & Saatchi Melbourne team as client service director
Saatchi & Saatchi, Melbourne has appointed Rebecca Robertson as client service director, joining the Melbourne Leadership team (pictured) of Mark Cochrane – managing director, Alex Speakman – managing partner – director of strategy and Leon Wilson – group creative director.
Having started her career at DDB Melbourne, Robertson moved to London to work both agency and client side on major brands including Glenfiddich, O2, Tesco, Callaway, RBS and NatWest.
Robertson first joined the Saatchi & Saatchi family when she moved to New York, leading the General Mills Yoplait business for North America, and more recently the JP Morgan Chase Consumer Bank global account.
Says Cochrane: “We are so pleased to have Rebecca leading our growing client portfolio in Melbourne. We have gone from a start up a full service collective of thirty-two in little over a year, and with her progressive experience, passion and leadership it is incredibly exciting to have Rebecca on board for our next chapter.”
Adds Robertson: “I feel as though I’m back home with Saatchi & Saatchi, and I’m so ready to help fuel the agency’s journey. We already have such a great fit as a team and it’s exciting to see what we can achieve together a group.”

So, you assemble the crew for a PR snap…decide on an arty B&W approach, agree on a pecking order, shoot to nicely over-expose the background…
And leave the rubbish bin in the shot.
Or, was that just an ironic touch?
they were probably pretty busy at work, needed a shot, ushered to natural light, click and the shot taken and all back to work. Kept it real – no time or thought of staging is my guess.
Whether ironic or not still a nice one.
@details….clap clap clap… and don’t forget the obligatory South Melbourne Market shopping cart trolley right next to the bin.. now I feel like some dimsims…
