QV encourages Australians to feel stronger in their skin in latest campaign via Geometry

Australia’s No.1 skincare brand in pharmacy, QV Skincare (QV), has announced the launch of its new campaign ‘Together We’re Stronger’ via Geometry, Channel T and Mkt. Communications, which highlights those special moments of closeness and togetherness that come from having confidence in your skin.

The Together We’re Stronger campaign brings to life the spirit of the 44-year-old brand and celebrates the incredible role our skin plays in bringing us closer together, and the strength we find in one another.

QV products are proudly free from fragrance, colour and common irritants, helping to support healthy skin and helping people feel confident in their skin to create closer connections.

Featuring QV ambassador and much-loved Australian radio broadcaster, actress and mum Kate Ritchie, the new campaign launched nationally this month with an emotive television advert, showcasing the importance of skin-on-skin contact in creating connections and moments of togetherness with loved ones throughout the different stages of life.

Having experienced a lack of skin confidence in the public eye until finding a skincare regimen that worked for her, Kate Ritchie understands the power of touch in creating strong connections and using a skincare brand that does not impact this:

Says Richie: “As a proud QV ambassador, I’m passionate about the new campaign which celebrates the strength that comes from those around us, and the amazing role our skin plays in creating those close connections.

“For me, the moment I became a mum is when I truly understood the power that touch can have. Nothing beats bath time with your little one or a big cuddle after a long day at work.

“Skin issues can really affect a person’s life – how they tackle it and how they live it – which is why I love QV so much. Their products have really worked for me and have given my friends and family a really simple, gentle range that can be used on even the most sensitive skin.”

Geometry has been responsible for the over-arching brand strategy and production of the campaign video while Starcom assisted with media placements across broadcast and digital.

Channel T has brought the campaign to life through POS support, social media and digital while Mkt. Communications supported with launch communications, providing media strategy and PR.

Says Matthew Austin, creative director, Geometry: “We really wanted the new TVC to tug on the heart strings of our audience by showing relatable, emotive moments of connection between people of all walks of life. The scenarios are shot to feel as authentic as possible, as if we are looking through a window into the lives of everyday Australians.

“Within each scene intimate moments hero the power of touch – the type of moments that can only come when you have complete confidence in your skin’s health.”

QV hopes to cement itself as the trusted expert in skincare that should be a staple of any family home in Australia, to care for even the most sensitive skin.

Says Samantha Franklin, senior brand manager, QV: “QV was born out of the need to help people with even the most sensitive skin. Today, the QV team continue to work hard with pharmacists, doctors, nurses and retailers to help as many Australian families feel comfortable and confident in their own skin. The new “QV Together We’re Stronger” campaign really brings to life the spirit of the brand. It celebrates the amazing role our skin plays, no matter who you are, in bringing us all closer together, and the strength we find in one-another, every day.”

Proudly family owned and Australian made, the range of QV Body, QV Face, QV Baby and QV Intensive products are not only gentle but have been trusted and loved by generations to help everyday Australians feel strong in their skin.
