Plaza Films signs with aWHITELABELproduct to represent its US + European directors in OZ + NZ
Plaza has announced exclusive Australia and New Zealand representation with New York based affiliate production house, aWHITELABELproduct, for their unique roster of award winning international directors, including legendary visual artists Olivier Gondry and Stephane Sednaoui, photographer/directors such as Peter Glanz, Eugenio Recuenco and Carter Smith, and Icelandic DJs turned directing duo Arni and Kinski.

Says Peter Masterton, Plaza EP: “We are really excited to be able to represent such an outstandingly original and talented group of creative minds – WhiteLabel’s roster is a new creative resource that we are opening up to the business here in Australia and New Zealand.
It’s not only a group of top flight visual content directors, it’s an opportunity for creatives here to look at this amazing array of talent and think about what these guys can bring to brands and projects.”
Says Ellen Jacobson EP at aWhiteLabelproduct: “Plaza have consistently been involved with some of the best work produced in recent years, we have partnered with them on many award winning US projects and we’re really thrilled that we are now collaborating in Australasia.”
White Label also represents a number of non fiction filmmakers – such as Alison Chernick, known for her intimate profiles of artists such as Jeff Koons, and Loki, a film collective whose recent documentary “Detropia” focuses on the struggle of Detroit to turn itself into a new and creative city, and was awarded at Sundance 2012.
Says Masterton: “The WhiteLabel roster features some outstandingly beautiful and arresting visual direction, which perfectly complements our own Nick Robertson and Clemens /Cummins, as well as our performance comedy directors, Paul Middleditch, Nick Reynolds, James Pilkington and Barney Howells.”
