Pause Fest to celebrate 10 years of Australian innovation with stellar tech titans: 5-7 February, 2020 at Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre
Independent festival for business and creativity Pause Fest is excited to reveal its best speaker headliners yet for the 10th edition of its innovation festival curated for curious minds. The festival, to be held at the Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre from 5 – 7 February 2020, will surround the theme “New Odyssey” and will pose the question: who owns the future?
It will be about how we, as a society, can build the capacity for the next generation of entrepreneurs to decipher critical societal problems and succeed.
Says George Hedon, founder and CEO, Pause Fest: “We now stand at a crossroads, looking towards the new decade while acknowledging the tremendous leap of innovation in the past ten years. The conversation is no longer about individual successes; it’s about our collective exponential development towards a more inclusive society.”
Pause Fest continues to champion the diverse curation of speakers with a 50/50 split between genders, and it attracts the similar ratio of global attendees each year. The 2020 edition will build upon last year’s success and will mark another massive cohort of over thirty international speakers. The world’s most innovative companies such as Google, Adidas, Atlassian, Amazon, WGSN, Square Peg, Mercedes-Benz, Walt Disney, Patagonia, Ueno, Facebook, Culture Amp will once again erupt the big stages among 200 future builders.
Says Hedon: “This year, we had a crazy number of speaker submissions – a 29 per cent increase from the previous year. The most popular content tracks that were submitted include Social & Global Impact, Future Workplace, Design & Creativity, MedTech & Wellbeing, Storytelling & Experience, Startup & Entrepreneurship and Brands & Marketing.”
Priding itself as a festival and not a conference, attendees can look forward to progressive workshops, extraordinary experiences, the Tech Garden Expo, non-awkward networking, VIP dinner and business breakfasts as well as after-parties.
With over 500 tickets already sold during the presale, organisers are expecting 2,000 attendees to Pause Fest 2020. Earlybird tickets are now on sale here.
