Patrick Fileti takes out Director of the Year title at CICLOPE Asia Pacific Awards
Clockwork Films director Patrick Fileti was last Thursday awarded director of the year at CICLOPE Asia Pacific Awards held in Sydney.
Fileti is a filmmaker drawn to the emotional texture of real life. His work moves between documentary and fiction, capturing moments that feel observed rather than constructed.
Originally from Italy, raised in Spain, and now based in Australia, Fileti’s films are shaped by movement between cultures, people and places.
He holds a Titanium and Grand Prix Cannes Lion for WWF’s Earth Hour campaign, and his work for Coca-Cola has been inducted into MoMA in New York and the Clio Hall of Fame.
Fileti also picked up best direction for his film piece for “GO Mongolia” in collaboration with Edelman Agency and Mr+Positive, Tokyo and Singapore.

The GO Mongolia film also picked up best Cinematography & Best Music.
Patrick is represented by Clockwork Films nationally in Australia and New Zealand, and is a Sydney local.
