WPP AUNZ-owned communications agency opr has promoted Bridget Jung to the newly created role of chief creative officer, extending the agency’s creative capability following a period of sustained growth. In her new role, Jung joins opr’s executive leadership team.

Jung (right) joined opr in 2017 as its first executive creative director with remit to work across the agency’s corporate, health, brand, business and technology capabilities, positioning the agency as a fully integrated creative communication discipline.

Prior to joining opr, Jung was creative director at Marcel Sydney and has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry with previous roles in Paris with both DigitasLBi as its chief creative officer and ECD at OgilvyOne.

Says Richard Brett, CEO, opr: “Promoting Bridget further reinforces our focus on creativity as a strategic differentiator. We have purposely focused on creativity and innovation as a key growth strategy for the business, and a key driver for our client’s success. Bridget has played an instrumental role in achieving that strategy, extending the range of work the team is delivering.”

opr has also announced the promotion of Miriam Wells (left) to the role of creative director, bringing her passion for news, trends, strategy and creativity to the role.

Says Jung: “We’re delighted Miriam is joining our creative team – she has done a sensational job for opr across a huge variety of pitches and clients, delivering inspiring ideas and thinking across creativity and strategy.”
