Noisy Beast’s James Franklin releases tongue-in-cheek video to raise money for Movember

One of Noisy Beast’s employees, media campaign manager James Franklin, has created a tongue-in-cheek video to raise money for the Movember Foundation with the help of the Noisy Beast team.

Over the course of the past month, Franklin has not only grown an exceptional moustache but has also worked with the Noisy team to sing, dance and create a video with the aim of raising funds for the foundation.

Says Franklin: “It started out as a bit of a joke amongst my friends about 10 years ago, but then Movember became a tradition for me. I became quite passionate about raising funds and awareness four years ago or so and started to think of some creative promotion strategies to try and raise as much money as possible. I first did a photo shoot which improved how much I raised but had the idea to do a rap video (an idea which I originally had for Steptember but couldn’t get it finished in time) three years ago.

“When I posted it, it went really really well, so much so that I got a standing ovation at work the day after posting it and that year I raised the most amount of money I’ve ever raised for anything. From recording on a camera in the basement car park I’ve tried to up the ante every year, thinking of ideas earlier and earlier in the year. The videos definitely would not be anywhere near as good as they are without TP’s (Tom Pollard, Noisy Beast producer) enormous help.”

“The Movember Foundation is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health, and this Movember I’m joining them. Together we can make a difference for men’s health – in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Help me stop men dying too young.”
