Neon Treehouse strengthens Adelaide team with senior hires and media leadership promotion

Australian digital marketing agency Neon Treehouse is strengthening its Adelaide team with two senior appointments and the promotion of Camila Rahde (left) to Digital Media Director, bringing further global brand, digital strategy and integrated marketing experience into the agency as its client portfolio continues to grow.

Rahde has been promoted to Digital Media Director after almost 3 years with the agency. Matt Bennett (centre) has joined the agency as Digital Client Strategist, while Charli Day (right) has recently come on board as Senior Digital Account Manager. Together, they bring more than 24 years of digital and agency experience spanning Australia, the UK and major international brands.

Rahde’s promotion recognises the growth of the agency’s paid media practice and the increasing scale of the media investment Neon Treehouse manages on behalf of clients across Australia. In the expanded role, she takes responsibility for managing the media strategy across the agency’s client portfolio, and leading the paid media team.

Since joining Neon Treehouse in 2024, Rahde has led media strategy for clients including Moonee Valley Racing Club, ResourceCo, Fairmont Group, and Spendless Shoes.

Says Joshua White, CEO, Neon Treehouse: “We’re thrilled to have Camila at the helm of the Digital Media team. She has shown time and time again that she’s the right person for the job, and that she takes our mission to be the best digital marketing agency in Australia as seriously as we do”.

Bennett, who joined Neon Treehouse six months ago, brings more than 12 years of experience across digital, brand strategy and fan experience.

Most recently, as Digital Experience Manager at KOJO, Bennett has delivered large-scale digital projects for organisations and brands including the AFL, Cricket Australia, FIFA, Repco and the US Open. His earlier experience includes roles with The Rowdy Group, Country Arts SA and Adelaide Festival

The move to Neon Treehouse also marks a new chapter in a long-standing relationship with the agency, having previously worked with the team as a client.

Says Bennett: “Having been a client of Neon Treehouse a number of times over the years, I’d always admired the quality of the work, the culture of the team and the sustainable growth the agency had achieved.

“My first few months here have been fantastic. I’m excited to bring the knowledge and experience I’ve gained working on major digital projects to the team, while continuing to build on the high level of strategy, service and performance Neon Treehouse delivers for its clients.”

Bennett is already applying that experience to some of the agency’s most significant strategic work, including its partnership with SuperConcepts, one of Australia’s largest self-managed super fund administrators.

Neon Treehouse has worked alongside the SuperConcepts leadership team on its move from a predominantly business-to-business model into the direct-to-trustee market, developing a broader market-entry strategy before campaigns launched in June. The work forms part of a 12-month partnership spanning strategy, marketing and ongoing growth.

Charli Day joins as Senior Digital Account Manager, bringing more than eight years of agency experience across Australia and the UK. She joins from digital performance agency In Marketing We Trust and previously worked at UK-based Omne Agency, with experience across brands including McCain, Nestlé, Tate & Lyle and Journey Beyond.

Her background spans paid media, search engine optimisation, generative engine optimisation, conversion rate optimisation and analytics, alongside integrated creative campaigns. Her focus is on bringing those disciplines together around a client’s broader marketing and commercial objectives.

While at Omne, Day was the day-to-day client lead for McCain’s Streets Ahead campaign, a national UK program designed to help people from disadvantaged backgrounds establish their own street-food businesses through training, mentoring and support.

At Neon Treehouse, she is working across a growing portfolio that includes NWG, Can:Do Group, Maxwell Wines and MKF Lawyers.

Says Day: “After working remotely for the past three years, I was really drawn to the opportunity to work more closely with Adelaide-based clients and be part of a local team.

“I really enjoy getting to know my clients and understanding what matters to them and their business beyond the immediate brief. I want clients to feel they can be open with me and ultimately see me as an extension of their team, rather than simply their agency contact.”

The appointments come during a busy period for Neon Treehouse, with the agency continuing to expand the strategic and integrated digital work it delivers from Adelaide and Melbourne for clients across Australia.

White said the appointments reflected the agency’s focus on building a team capable of combining specialist digital expertise with a deeper understanding of its clients’ businesses: “Matt and Charli both bring significant experience, but what really strengthens our team is the way they think beyond individual channels or campaigns. They understand the bigger commercial picture and how strategy, creative, media and client relationships need to work together to create meaningful results.

“This is all about bringing a world-class team to our clients, and with Charli and Matt coming onto the team, we certainly feel our determination to keep quality at this level is well represented.

“We are on a mission to deliver Australia’s best Digital Marketing Agency experience to our clients. As our client partnerships and the scope of the work we’re delivering continue to grow, having people of their calibre join the Treehouse puts us in a really exciting position for what comes next.”
