Mosaic Music & Sound celebrates hugely successful first year – “We’re proud of how far we’ve come, but there’s plenty more to do.”
In just 12-months, Mosaic Music & Sound – co-founded by Adam Moses and Bill Doig – has transformed from an empty space in the gritty Hibernian House to a fully operational creative space. Despite officially swinging the doors open a little over one year ago, the music and sound house has already acted as a trusted partner to over 40 brands including ABC, McDonald’s, Myer, Allianz, Westpac and Woolworths, to name a few.
Celebrating the major milestone, the duo have reflected on the inaugural year that started with their first piece of work – the composition of five original title tracks for the multi-award winning Modibodi’s TikTok series ‘I’m Dying Inside’, created in partnership with Howatson+Company and Finch. In the months following, the team have been involved in a number of projects including the soundtrack for Woolworths’ ‘Disney’s Worlds of Wonder’ campaign with M&C Saatchi to original composition and sound design for the ABC via Howatson+Co, with the most recent work being for Myer Christmas ‘Humbug’ with Clemenger BBDO Melbourne and MOFA.
Says Doig: “We’re really grateful for everyone that’s come into the studio this past year to work with us, together creating some really unique sound experiences, and we’ve had a lot of fun doing it. We’ve collaborated with those that already know and trust us, but also had the opportunity to work with new people and brands, merging both mine and Adam’s relationships, and showing the industry what Mosaic Music & Sound is about.”
Since opening the doors, Doig and Moses have welcomed award-winning Senior Sound Engineer, Michael Thomas, with an array of talent collaborating with their clients over recent months. Believing that ‘change breeds innovation’ Mosaic Music & Sound has curated specialists from across the industry for various projects, believing that mixing up talent allows for unique, bespoke and compelling sound experiences.
As the sound and music house continues to grow, their vision to push the boundaries of what’s possible in sound design and music composition remains. With an offering that spans original composition, sound design, VO and engineering, the boutique agency’s creative output since inception has demonstrated there is no job that the studio can’t handle.
Says Moses: “We wanted to be more than just a studio, created to foster collaboration, creativity and trust with our clients, so that each project we work on becomes an experience.
“If the past year has been focused on establishing ourselves, the year ahead will be on refining our position in the industry as Australia’s premium sound and music house. We’re excited about showing what bringing together an eclectic mix of talent together can do.”
Adds Doig: “The year ahead is about building on what we’ve already achieved. We’re proud of how far we’ve come, but there’s plenty more to do.”
