Moccona launches a romantic tale of destiny in new brand campaign via TBWA\Sydney
Moccona, Australia’s beloved coffee brand, has sparked the thrill of romance and possibility with its new brand campaign, “Destiny” developed by TBWA\Sydney.
This new brand campaign blends timeless romance with a little bit of magic to enliven the feelings of falling in love.
Says Virginia Marsh, marketing director at JDE: “Moccona has consistently used emotional storytelling and a passion for quality to connect with Australians, and this campaign is no exception. Partnering with TBWA Sydney, we are proud to launch this new brand campaign to awaken the romantic within and continue to drive love for Moccona.”
Says Katrina Alvarez-Jarratt, executive creative director TBWA\Sydney: “We needed to find an interesting way for the Moccona jar to bring our lovers together, while keeping the product at the heart of the story. Having it roll through a charming European town to reunite them captures Moccona’s timeless romance and creates an enjoyable film that is true to the brand in every sense.”
The campaign will be rolled out nation-wide across television, digital platforms, social media, and outdoor.

I would PR the heck out of this.
let’s collab
What?
I hope you enjoyed the junket.
I never thought I could believe in love again 🥹
Pure cheese. I can even see the obvious start of each jar roll. So fake.
She left her whole bag behind to chase an instant coffee.
We’d all love to know
Production Company was AIRBAG
I think Campaign Brief needs to set up a sub-brand landing page for work like this instead of posting it here where at least a small attempt is usually made at being creative.
Genuine question: Is this just an international TVC with an Australian VO?
I worked on this brand at a previous agency and I can assure you it’s not the agency’s fault that this is such a bottle of crap. This work seems to work for this client and they have no ambition to push the work. It’s a shame.
says it all. Lazy marketer to rehash such an old idea. And agree with silly lady above. Why would you leave your bag for a jar of that!
Have tried many supposedly good quality brands = Awful . Stop the b/s and give us a decent coffee that is reasonably priced . If collusion with market chains continues , i will return to drinking hot water with lemon, as we should all do , then the industry will fall to pieces , the industry relies on us (The Consumer) and not the other way round . An industry collapse may be just what the doctor ordered . Good ruck errybody else.
