In its first major campaign that visually brings its ‘Standing by You’ platform to life, MGA Insurance Group reinforces its promise to be there when its customers most need them.
An honest and relatable campaign, without the bells & whistles, highlights the resilience of country and rural Australian’s in the face of adversity.
Says Cameron Roberts, creative director, Floodlight: “There’s a lot of mistrust floating around in 2019 and we wanted to emphasise that MGA takes a very personal approach to its services.”
MGA is one of the top ten insurance brokerages in Australia with over 40 offices nationally.
Darren Horne, managing director at Faction Co says the campaign is a direct reflection of what the MGA team sees in the field: “It was really important for us to communicate the value proposition of an insurance broker, and I think we’ve really achieved that with the Standing by You campaign. We found a way to neatly bring to life the interactions that MGA Brokers have with their client’s day in and day out. They’re there to guide customers through the insurance process, and this is no more evident than in a claim’s scenario. The broker is there to provide assurance, so that people can get back on their feet and on with their lives. The creative behind the campaign has nailed this message, and we couldn’t be prouder of the execution.”
For Floodlight Media, it was the first TVC series created from brief to execution, where mostly in-house staff were utilised.
Says Roberts: “We have the internal capabilities and established trust with Darren and his team, so it was a fantastic opportunity to be tasked with creative as well as production. We’re quite often pigeon-holed into just being execution only but we’re starting to see this shift with our clients who love what we do.
“It was a really smooth process from start to finish”.
The campaign will run nationally across TV, print and radio.
