Menulog appoints Connecting Plots as social agency following a competitive pitch

Menulog has appointed Connecting Plots as its social agency of record following a competitive pitch.

Says Simon Cheng, marketing director, Menulog: “We were looking for a partner with strong social-first thinking and during the pitch process, Connecting Plots were a standout. The initial work they presented showed an incredible understanding of our brand, business and ambition and it gave us the confidence in them as a partner to help us achieve this.

“We were particularly impressed with the work presented for emerging channels, such as TikTok, as these will be key in driving our strategy to reach and connect with a younger demographic.”

Says Lewis Steele, head of social and content at Connecting Plots: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with such an ambitious & motivated client and broader agency team. Menulog is a true challenger brand that has much to offer, so we’re excited about showing how social can help capitalise on that potential.”

Connecting Plots will join an agency group that includes McCann, UM and Finchco.

Connecting Plots has enjoyed sustained growth over 2020, with client roster additions including Tesla, Uncle Tobys, 4 Pines, Brookvale Union and Nestlé Health Sciences.
