McCafé brews up a new brand platform for a great day ahead via DDB Group Aotearoa


McDonald’s and DDB Group Aotearoa have revealed the latest McCafé brand platform ‘Great Things Are Brewing’ – inspiring the importance of a great start to the day, with McCafé.


As a nation of coffee devotees, the latest campaign is a dedicated love letter to the day ahead. Reminding Kiwis that anything is possible, when you start your day off right.

Says Karla Fisher, lead business partner at DDB Aotearoa:“We wanted to develop a platform that our coffee lovin’ nation would relate to. For many of us, a day doesn’t get started until we down our first cup of coffee. With this work, we wanted to go a step further, by owning the morning coffee moment and linking it to a day of greatness.”

Luke Rive, director of marketing at McDonald’s says that McCafé is set to cement its position as the go-to for Kiwis who want to start their day off right: “This latest work serves as a great reminder for our inner optimist to start with a cup of McCafé coffee; harness the day’s potential and turn it into something great.”

This fully integrated campaign is running across all channels including TVNZ and radio partnerships, digital outdoor, social media, owned website and in-store.
