Macca’s releases new McNugget Sauces and digital sauce quest teaser via DDB Sydney

Macca’s has launched a teaser campaign via DDB Sydney to promote the release of four super limited flavour Chicken McNuggets Sauces, from 6 July.

 

The first limited release will see the return of fan favourite Cajun Sauce and the Aussie debut of Szechuan Sauce, both available in Macca’s restaurants nationwide from Wednesday 6 – Tuesday 19 July, while stocks last.

The Cajun Sauce is a perfect blend of Dijon mustard, vinegar, honey and spices to create a creamy, sweet yet tangy flavour. This fan favourite sold out the last time it was released in 2020,
so you’d better be quick! While the Szechuan Sauce will get your taste buds tingling with an aromatic and rich blend of soy sauce, ginger, garlic and sesame oil.

Says Tim Kenward, marketing director, McDonald’s: “We know how much Macca’s fans love our Chicken McNuggets and sauces and we can’t wait to release a limited stock of some our highly requested sauces like Szechuan and Cajun sauces.”

To celebrate, Macca’s is giving superfans a chance to secure their very own supply before the sauces hit restaurants. The promotion called ‘Sauce Quest’ will see fans embark on an epic three-day digital sauce hunt to claim the prize.

From 9am on Tuesday 28 June, Sauce Questers will need to solve some saucy clues and find the hidden sauce splatters, with the help of some of our friends. Find all splatters to go into the draw
to claim a personal stash of the Cajun and Szechaun sauces.
