Good things happen when people get together and talk about what’s on their mind. So Limehouse is bringing the industry together for a fun night in June, the launch of Creative Circle, an event series which the production and post studio is hosting with Campaign Brief.
Limehouse has booked out the whole of Misfits (an appropriately named venue for a really fun evening) and added all the right ingredients for an epic party. Come for the free drink. The great company. To meet someone new. Or catch up with old mates. To chat about the industry. To dance. Or just come for the hell of it.
After the first big bash at Misfits, Creative Circle will become a quarterly event, at a different venue each time.
Says Duncan Harriss, managing director of Limehouse: “Bringing the best people together is fundamental to how we work.
“We hope to create an open forum, where everyone’s voice is equal, and the only requirements are respect and a Love for what you do in the industry. There’s nothing formal – no dull speeches or panels. We don’t expect to solve all the big issue problems, but change begins with ideas and we hope to bring some of those to the fore. It’s a concept to promote greater collaboration within the industry.”
The idea is to create a place where anyone from any part of creative or production – from CCOs to production assistants, from directors to all those who support the industry with their skills – can get to meet new people and catch up with colleagues over a drink and share ideas about anything that just might make the industry a little bit better.
