LG Electronics names actress Georgie Parker as new brand ambassador for home appliances
Australian actress Georgie Parker has been named as LG Electronics Australia’s new brand ambassador across the Home Appliance category.
Epitomising style and strong family values, Parker will be the new face of LG’s extensive Home Appliance range, including products such as the Steam Dishwasher.
Says Parker: “I’m looking forward to working with LG Electronics to help showcase how innovative and beneficial LG’s Home Appliances are for Australian families. As a working mum, I know how important it is to have resilient and smart appliances and I want a product that looks great too – this is the beauty of the LG range, as they combine attractive and striking finishes with clever technology.”
Parker will grace LG’s Home Appliance advertising campaign, which will promote several new LG products, including LG’s 6 motion washing machines, steam dishwashers, vacuums, and
refrigerators. The campaign will cover print and TV across Australia and New Zealand.
The first TVC will feature LG’s 6 motion washing machines and will air on Friday 6th July (tonight).
Says Fiona Irving, corporate marketing manager, LG Electronics Australia: “Georgie Parker is a really positive fit for our Home Appliances category. We wanted an Australian icon that is genuine and encapsulates the values of our brand. Georgie has touched the hearts of many Australian households and is the perfect representation for our new range.
“Georgie’s modern and stylish persona fits with the appeal of LG’s Home Appliances, as we see our range as high quality and premium. We’re looking forward to working with her.”
Georgie can be found weeknights on Channel 7’s Home & Away. She is the loving mum of daughter Holly and representative of the National Scoliosis Foundation and the Steve Waugh Foundation.
